Being offered for sale is the antique STANLEY No. 81 CARPENTER'S BOARD SCALE FOLDING RULE from circa late 19th or early 20th century (as per John Walter's book "Antique & Collectible Stanley Tools...Guide to Identify & Value" which has the No. 81's manufactured from 1854-1915 and based on the Stanley logo, we believe this rule falls somewhere in the middle -to- end of those production years), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. Very Good/VG  vintage/antique condition with superb patina throughout. All brass joints are still pretty stiff and only a slight bow to the wood (see 3rd & 4th pics). NO breaks or repairs. Very nice example!! See pics.
